Project Overview

This is the first Galactic Omnivore project. Vancho and Ivan started it in the Winter of 2021. The goal is to take a retro concept like Battle City and apply modern game development concepts. Exploring the new technical capabilities of modern hardware and game design solutions.

Title: Rogue Tanks

Description: A reimagination of the original Battle City (1985) where the tanks, bullets and environment tiles are interactive between each other causing interactions between each other.

Genre: Roguelike

Target platform: PC > Consoles > Mobile

Target audience: everyone, retro players
